For Your Dining Pleasure!

Your dining experience at Kaska Goose Lodge can be described in one word – FUN. The lodge dining room, overlooking the Kaskattama River, exudes a friendly and warm ambiance where guests relax and enjoy their meals in casual comfort.

Our Red Seal Chef treats Kaska’s guests to tasty appetizers; hearty, home-cooked entrees and delicious, mouth-watering desserts.
While both guest cabins are equipped with drip coffee makers, feel free to drop by the lodge first thing in the morning to enjoy a cup of fresh-brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate and relax in the television lounge while catching up on the latest news, weather and sports via satellite television.
Start your day off on the right foot with a hot breakfast served in the lodge dining room. A selection of fresh fruit, fruit juices, cold cereal – and a tradition of the north – Red River cereal are available in addition to a traditional full, hot breakfast featuring breakfast meats, eggs, potatoes and toast.

Hunters have the option to stay in the field all day and take a tasty sack lunch with them, or to come back to the lodge for a hot meal served in our dining room.

Dinners are a casual affair. Appetizers are delivered to the guest cabins as the hunters return from the field for the day. Appetizers are followed by a delicious three course dinner, prepared by our Red Seal chef and served in the lodge dining room by Kaska’s friendly staff.

After dinner guests can relax in the lodge’s television lounge or head back to their cabin for an after dinner drink, a game of cards or cribbage, or just relax in front of the fire before retiring for the night to enjoy a good night’s sleep to prepare for their next day’s adventure on the Hudson Bay Lowlands.
